Treatment Description

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle, rhythmic therapy designed to support the body’s natural healing and detoxification processes. Using the Vodder technique, this specialized treatment stimulates the lymphatic system — the body’s fluid-transport and immune-support network — helping to move excess fluid, cellular waste, and inflammatory buildup out of the tissues. This treatment is appropriate for both healthy individuals and those recovering from medical procedures. It is especially beneficial pre- and post-surgery, for swelling or fluid retention, limited range of motion, and for clients managing lymphedema. By encouraging proper lymph flow, this therapy can help reduce puffiness, discomfort, and inflammation while improving mobility and circulation. Many clients report feeling lighter, less achy, and more comfortable in their bodies after a session. It also supports post-surgical recovery by decreasing swelling, promoting tissue healing, and lowering the risk of complications. The slow, precise movements of lymphatic drainage activate the body’s parasympathetic “rest and repair” response, making the treatment deeply calming and restorative. If your body feels swollen, tight, heavy, or slow to recover, this treatment offers gentle yet powerful support.
